Cesare Civetta’s Lecture at the United Nations

For the ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the end of the Holocaust, B’nai B’rith invited him to lecture on Arturo Toscanini’s denounciation of Mussolini and Hitler that drew a standing room only crowd at the United Nations.

April 28, 2015 Cesare Civetta delivered his lecture entitled A Conductor Stands Up for Justice: How Toscanini Fought Hitler’s Persecution of the Jews at the United Nations during the annual Holocaust Remembrance Ceremonies at the invitation of B’nai B’rith.
